Paper Market : Please explain us about Camerich Papers & its operations.
Kamlesh Sitapara : Camerich Papers Private Limited, established in 2018, is one of the largest paper unit in India for manufacturing the Coated Paper Boards suitable for printing and packaging application. The mill is located at Morbi district in Gujarat (India). the mill is having more than 160,000 m² of area with 126000 MT of annual production capacity. It is equipped with the state of art Technology for manufacturing the paper board of the global quality standard suitable for high quality print jobs in the notebooks and packaging sectors across the globe.
We believe in the policy that the constant innovation and up-gradation is the only key to meet the customer requirement and the mill always keeps itself abreast of the changing requirements of the market in India and abroad. Our growth and achievements resulting in the satisfaction of our customer and the stakeholders, is a testimony to our zealous commitment for creativity and innovation. The state of the art and environment friendly manufacturing technology adopted by us for manufacturing the Coated Duplex Paper Board ensures a sustainable growth of the Company.
PM : What is Camerich paper’s vision?

We accomplish our mission with an uncompromising commitment to the health of our employees, the environment and the communities in which we operate.
PM : What kind of paper boards you manufacture?
KS : Currently, we are manufacturing 3 types of paper products as mentioned below. 1.Imperia Dazzle i.e. Light Weight Coated Duplex Board (Grey Back) 2.Imperia Enamel i.e. Heavy Weight Coated Duplex Board (Grey Back) 3.Imperia Vanilla i.e. Triplex Board (White Back)
PM : What kind of QCS is followed by Camerich Papers to provide the best quality of papers to its customers?
KS : As mentioned earlier, we are using Valmet IQ quality control system that have selectable and adaptive scanning functions combined with high-speed quality sensors to provide many online diagnostic functions to improve paper quality, machine stability, and process efficiency. Furthermore, to ensure best quality with international standards to the customer, we have set up Laboratory with Instrument from World’s best recognised manufacturer “L&W, Sweden”.
KS : Our world class paper production unit equipped with cutting edge European Technology like Four Wire + TDU along with Four Stage Blade Coating and Online Valmet QCS System to achieve unmatched Board parameters like Fiber Formation, Stiffness, Bulk, Gloss, Smoothness, Whiteness & Playbond with 100% accuracy. Our plant is fully equipped with State of the art technology to manufacture Premium Grade Duplex Board (Grey Back & White Back), Triple Coated White Top Craft Liner, Semi Virgin, Virgin FBB, Coloured File Board etc.
To ensure best quality to customer, we have set up Laboratory with Instrument from World’s best recognised manufacturer “L&W, Sweden”. Plant equipped with one of the world’s best European Simplex Sheet Cutters from Bielomatik & Jagenberg to avoid Cross Cutting, Trimming and cutting Dust to serve Trim Free & Dust Free Board Sheets to Customers.
PM : How do you look at the future of paper market in India ?
KS : With the hope of that future is full of paper market as government is determined to achieve sustainable development goals with banning plastic and promoting recycled material, many new small and big mills are coming. It is good for economic growth as new investments are coming but there is also threat if competition will increase, it will lead to collapse of smaller players.
PM : How do you challenge the Industry barriers?
KS : As compare to prepandemic time, there is less raw material availability due to closure of offices, schools etc. Second, higher sea freight impacts imported coal and waste price leads to high input cost as well as high rates for export. Third, high fuel charges lead to high transportation cost in domestic market. Moreover, there is increasing demand of all products (here, paper) in the market as vaccination increases (‘V’ shaped economic recovery) but due to coming up of new Covid variants, merchants are hesitating to visit the mill and face to face meeting that leads to less market penetration and recently, world’s largest paper expo (Paperex) is also deferred otherwise expo would have boost the market.
PM : Why Camerich papers and how best it is?
KS : We are providing best quality of products at best price to our customers. In addition to our existing customers, it is easy for new customers to trust us as we provide them best quality controlled output from our world class lab.
PM : How does your company contribute to the society?
KS : We always believe in quid pro quo to the society with an extra emphasis on sustainability for better future of next generations and we have never turned down an opportunity to pay it forward. For that we have provided our one third of land for tree plantation around and beside our plant. Additionally, we have adopted five villages as a part of Swatch Bharat Mission and Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav so it is our responsibility to maintain cleanliness to those villages and for this work we are also admired by the Government.
