Vietnam’s Paper industry leads Southeast Asia. In recent years, Vietnam’s paper industry has experienced robust growth, with an average annual production growth rate of 13.3% over the five-year period from 2019 to 2023.
In 2023, the total domestic paper production reached nearly 7 million tons, ranking second in Southeast Asia (after Indonesia). Notably, packaging paper production accounted for more than 6 million tons, making up 86% of the total output, and ranked first in Southeast Asia.
