Nationwide Boiler has highlighted its fleet of mobile steam plants, offering rapid and dependable temporary steam solutions for industrial and heavy commercial facilities facing planned shutdowns, capacity expansions, or emergency boiler outages.
The company’s self-contained mobile systems are designed to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted plant operations while providing the flexibility required across a wide range of industries.
The fleet includes mobile steam plants ranging from 47.5 to 1,000 horsepower (HP), enabling customers to select the capacity best suited to their operational needs. Available in both trailer-enclosed and open-trailer configurations, each unit is pre-engineered, fire-tested, and rigorously maintained to ensure reliable performance and quick deployment for temporary steam requirements.
A key feature of the mobile fleet is its strong environmental performance. Several units are equipped with low and ultra-low NOx burners, and many of the ultra-low NOx models are pre-permitted for expedited operation within California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). This allows facilities to meet some of the industry’s most stringent air emission regulations while reducing the time required for permitting and project startup.
Each mobile steam plant is delivered as a fully integrated boiler room, incorporating a firetube steam boiler, feedwater system, duplex water softener, chemical feed equipment, blowdown separator, and complete control systems. Because the units are fully piped and wired before leaving the factory, installation at customer sites is significantly faster, enabling rapid connection and commissioning during critical operations.
Nationwide Boiler has also designed the systems for fuel flexibility, allowing operation on natural gas or No. 2 fuel oil, while selected models can accommodate non-standard fuels for specialized industrial applications. The trailer-enclosed mobile boiler rooms provide an additional advantage by housing all equipment inside a weatherproof enclosure, protecting both machinery and operators from harsh environmental conditions and eliminating the need for temporary protective structures.
By combining fast deployment, regulatory compliance, fuel versatility, and fully integrated boiler room functionality, Nationwide Boiler’s mobile steam plant fleet provides manufacturers, processing facilities, utilities, and commercial operations with a reliable solution for maintaining steam production whenever permanent boiler systems are unavailable or additional capacity is required.
