ProJet b.v. has received an order from Saigon Paper’s PM1 machine in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for the supply of three Power Cleaners designed for dryer fabrics.
The new order follows the successful installation and performance of previously supplied Power Cleaners at the facility. Saigon Paper’s PM1 is a 4.0-metre-wide paper machine that produces packaging grades using 100% old corrugated containers (OCC), a raw material that can introduce significant contamination in the dryer section.
The Power Cleaners are expected to improve machine performance by keeping dryer fabrics and rolls clean. The technology is designed to deliver several operational benefits, including:
-
Reduced sheet breaks: Helps minimise sheet breaks caused by contamination on dryer fabrics and rolls.
-
Improved drying capacity: Enhances dryer fabric performance, potentially reducing steam consumption.
-
Better paper quality: Helps reduce sheet defects while improving production efficiency and machine runnability.
The repeat order highlights the operational benefits achieved through the earlier installation and supports Saigon Paper’s efforts to improve the performance of its PM1 machine.
